Background

Hello. I am Anthony Chiado. I am creative and enthusiastic about developing different forms of media content. I am well-versed in a wide variety of Adobe apps including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, and After Effects, which I used extensively throughout my college education. I am adept at creating and editing videos, stop motions, image collages, soundscapes, drawings, and animations. In addition to Adobe apps, I am proficient in Microsoft 365, and I have experience with Visual Studio Code utilizing JavaScript, C# for Unity, HTML, CSS, and JSON. I completed a summer internship in 2024 with First Baptist Church of Melbourne in Melbourne, Florida. My responsibilities included creating video content such as sermon trailers/bumpers and social media reels. I also enjoy creating stop motion animations, video reviews/discussions, and game playthroughs for my YouTube channel. I play the piano and bass guitar as well, and I have used my own music in some of my videos.

Education

I graduated from St Johns River State College (SJR State) in Orange Park, Florida with an AA (cum laude) in December 2022. While attending SJR State, I was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and I was selected for the 2023 All-Florida Academic Team. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts and Sciences from Arizona State University (summa cum laude) in May 2025.

Hobbies

I am an avid collector. My collection includes action figures from my favorite franchises, namely Transformers and Sonic the Hedgehog. I also collect Lego from various themes including Star Wars, Marvel, Ninjago, Bionicle, and Sonic the Hedgehog. I frequently include items from my collection in my work and in my videos for my YouTube channel.

Strengths & Goals

The primary motivation behind the majority of the projects showcased in this portfolio was completion of college assignments and internship projects. Inspiration for my work is often drawn from many YouTube channels and artists that I follow, for example, Yuji Uekawa, Lego Cooking, and Rodimus Primal. In addition to my experience with Adobe apps and programming, I also design and print 3D models utilizing Tinkercad and Blender to create the printable files. I am currently seeking employment where I can utilize my media development and editing skills.
